Cobham Estate.

ORDERED, That the Committee to whom the Bill, sent down from the Lords, for the raising Money on Cobham House and Park, is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon in the Place formerly appointed.

Preservation of Fishing.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom the Bill, sent down from the Lords, for the Preservation of the Fishing in several Rivers of this Kingdom, is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon in the Place formerly appointed.

Coke's Estate.

Mr. Wright reports from the Committee to whom the Bill, sent down from the Lords, intituled, An Act to supply the Defects in a Deed of Settlement, made by John Coke Esquire, deceased; and for altering a Trust in Part of the Estate of Robert Coke Esquire; several Amendments, agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill; and also the Proviso referred with the Bill: Which Amendments, with the Coherence, he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were again twice read; and, with an Amendment, made at the Clerk's Table, by inserting the Proviso after the Word "notwithstanding," in the Twenty-seventh Line of the Fourteenth Press, instead of inserting it after the Word "contained," in the Twentysixth Line of the same Press, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

And the Bill, with the Amendments, being read a Third time;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act to supply the Defects in a Deed of Settlement, made by John Coke Esquire, deceased; and for altering a Trust in Part of the Estate of Robert Coke Esquire.

Winchelsea Election.

A Petition of Creswell Draper Esquire, concerning the Election for the Port of Winchelsea, was tendered and read.

But the Petition not being signed by the Petitioner, the same was withdrawn.

Hearth Money Patents.

The House being informed, that the Farmers of the Duty of Hearth Money were attending without, with their Patent, according to the Order of the House;

Ordered, That the Farmers be called in; and do leave their Patent; and do attend again on Friday Morning next: At which time this House will enter into the Debate concerning the same.

And the Farmers being called in; and having left their Patent;

Mr. Speaker acquainted them, That they were to attend again on Friday Morning next.

Irregular Adjournments.

Ordered, That the Debate concerning the late Adjournments of the House by Mr. Speaker, be taken up on Saturday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock.

Supply.

The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of his Majesty's Supply.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Edw. Deering took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Edward Deering reports from the Committee, That they had taken the Matter referred to them into their Consideration; and had agreed upon a Vote to be reported to the House: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was again read; and is as followeth; viz.

Resolved, &c. That it is the Opinion of this Committee, that Ninety Ships of War are necessary for the Support of his Majesty's present Alliance, made with the States General of the United Provinces, for the Preservation of the Spanish Netherlands, and lessening the Power of France.

And humbly moved, from the said Committee, That they might have Leave to sit again To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree with the Committee, that Ninety Ships of War are necessary for the Support of his Majesty's present Alliances made with the States General of the United Provinces, for the Preservation of the Spanish Netherlands, and lessening the Power of France.

Resolved, &c. That this House will, To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of his Majesty's Supply, for the Support of his present Alliances made with the States General of the United Provinces, for the Preservation of the Spanish Netherlands, and lessening the Power of France.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees, that were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned.
