Indenture witnessing that on the underwritten date, Richard de Glatton came to the town and port of Tollesbury and gave to John Caru and John ate Welle, bailiffs, two writs requiring them to detain all ships then in port of the weight of 50 tuns of wine and upward, and to recall all ships of that weight absent from the port, to fit out such ships with a double equipment and keep them safely till further order; also that no ship was found at the said port, nor any of that weight belonging to it. 6 August, 7 Edward III.

Defeasance of a bond by William le Botiller of Werington, to Richard son of Henry de Trafford, knight, for 33 marks, which remains with Robert son of Richard de Moston; witnessing that whereas Richard lives with the said William 'de son conseil et a ses robes,' as long as it pleases the said Richard to receive from William a robe yearly with the other servants, the said William grants that if Richard be dismissed from such service without cause, and William be judged at fault by the award of Gilbert de Haidok, Aleyn de Eccliston and Aleyn de Rixton, then the said bond shall be given to Richard son of Henry, to follow at law, otherwise it shall be void. Whereas also Richard has released to the said William all arrears of a yearly rent of 30s., he grants that if he be paid 24 marks by the said William at certain days specified in a certain bond, then the release shall be delivered to William &c.
