House meets.

Mr. Speaker, knowing there was no Bill in the House, and having received some Warning, from the Lord Chancellor, to come late, because there was a Meaning to send from the Lords, about Eleven a Clock, and not before, came not till Ten a Clock; and then, till Eleven, was altum silentium.

Corporations.

The Bill, touching Grants made by Corporations, delivered to Mr. Fuller.

Union with Scotland.

Sir John Crook, Sir Edw. Stanhope, Sir Rich. Swale, and D. Hone, bring from the Lords, the Instrument of the Union. -

That, where it was reduced to Writing, the Lords have considered ; have sent it, to be read, and considered of here; and then to be proceeded in, as shall be thought fit.

Being offered to be read, it was ordered, that it should not be read till the Morning; and then to be read at Nine a Clock.
