For the church of St. Crux, York, value 10 marks, void by the death of Alan de Setrington at the Roman court, notwithstanding that he has been put in place of Robert Abot of Wodweston, in his right to the church of Fenny Drayton, touching which a suit is pending in the Roman court against John Elys of Hilton. Whereas, on founding a priory of Canons Regular at Flanesford, in the diocese of Hereford, he prayed the pope to appropriate to it the church of Westbury by Gloucester on Severn, which was done, and whereas some assert that the appropriation is invalid, because when it was made the prior and convent were not actually in the said monastery, he prays for confirmation of the same.
