[16 December, 1648.]

Whereas an Ordinance of both Houses of Parliament, was made the 2d Day of this Instant Month of December, intituled, "An Ordinance for settling the Militia, in the several Counties, Cities, and Places, within the Kingdom of England and Dominion of Wales, and Town of Berwick upon Tweed:" The said Lords and Commons now in Parliament assembled, taking the said Ordinance into their Consideration, do order and ordain, and be it hereby Ordered and Ordained, That the said Ordinance, and every Matter, Clause, and Thing therein contained, be from henceforth utterly repealed, annulled, and made void; and the same is hereby repealed, annulled, and made void, and of no effect.
