Commissioners for inspecting Treasuries to issue warrants for payment of moneys for Navy.
Be it Enacted by this present Parliament, and the Authority thereof, That Cornelius Holland, Dennis Bond, Francis Allein and John Downs, Esqs; Commissioners appointed by Act of Parliament for inspecting the Treasuries, or any two or more of them, be authorized and required from and after the First day of January, One thousand six hundred fifty two, Upon such Certificates as shall be made unto them from time to time, by the Commissioners for ordering and managing the Affairs of the Admiralty and Navy, what Sums of Money shall be requisite to be paid or assigned for carrying on the Service of the Navy, to issue their Warrants from time to time unto the Treasurers of the several Publique Receipts, out of which any Monies already are or shall be appointed by Parliament for the use of the Navy, to pay unto the Treasurer of the Navy the sums so certified: And that all and every person and persons therein concerned do yield obedience thereunto, Any former Act, Order or Ordinance of Parliament to the contrary notwithstanding.
