HODIE 2^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Explanation of One Statute, made in the Second Session of this present Parliament, intituled, An Act against unlawful Hunting and Stealing of Deer and Conies.

Confirmation of a Decree in Chancery between Elrington and Cage.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the confirming and establishing of a Decree, made in the High Court of Chancery, for and on the Behalf of Nine Poor Children and Orphans of William Elrington and Edward Elrington, against Edward Cage, Executor of the last Will and Testament of Rowland Elrington, Brother of the said Edward and William Elrington, and Uncle of the said Children; and for the extending of the Lands and Goods of the said Edward Cage, for the speedy Execution and Performance of the said Decree, and the Payment and Satisfaction of the Sums of Money thereby decreed to the said Children.

Restitution of Brooke's Children. Expedit.

This Day, a Proviso added by the Lower House to the Bill for Restitution in Blood of the Son and Two Daughters of George Brooke, late attainted of High Treason, was the Third Time read; videlicet, the whole Bill was, by the Direction of the House, read, with the Addition, as it was by the Lower House appointed to come in, or be inserted; and the Proviso being put to the Question, the Bill with the said Proviso was past.

Erection of Brewhouses, etc.

Appointed, That the Lords Committees in the Bill for Erection of Common Brewhouses, in certain Places needing the same, etc. shall meet, for Consideration thereof, on Saturday next, the 16th of this Instant June, by Eight of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Little Chamber, near the Parliament Presence.

Ld. Oxenford's Bill for the Sale of the Manor of Bretts and Plaistow, to purchase Henningham.

This Day, the Bill for Sale of the Manor of Bretts, and Farm of Plastowe, in the County of Essex, Parcel of the Possessions of Henry Earl of Oxenford, towards the Re-purchasing of the Castle, Manor, and Parks, of Heningham, etc. was brought into the House, by the Lord Privy Seal, one of the Committees, with certain Amendments, which were Twice read, and allowed; and thereupon the said Bill and Amendments appointed to be ingrossed.

Lady Le Despencer's Bill, and Lord Abergavenny's.

This Day, as well a Bill exhibited by the Lady Le Despencer, for the settling of Part of the Possessions of Edward Nevill, Lord Bergevenny, etc. as also one other Bill, exhibited by Edward Nevill, Lord Bergevenny, and Sir Henry Nevill, Knight, his Son and Heir Apparent, to enable the said Lord Bergevenny and Sir Hen. Nevill to alien certain Lands, etc. were brought into the House, by the Lord Privy Seal, one of the Committees for both the said Bills; who declared, That the Lords Committees had considered of the Bills aforesaid, and found that, with the good Liking of the Lady Le Despencer, the Bill so exhibited by the said Lord Bergevenny and Sir Hen. Nevill may pass, and the other preferred by her Ladyship sleep, and no further to proceed; so as her Ladyship, or Sir Fra. Fane, her Son and Heir Apparent, may be satisfied, that a former Order, heretofore made, and by the House approved, touching the Place, Precedency, and Pre-eminence, of the Barons of Le Despencer, may be in such Sort further strengthened, as shall be thought fit; for which Purpose his Lordship further shewed, that the said Lady and Sir Fran. Fane do humbly desire, that the said Order, and all Things touching the same which now remain entered in the Journal Book of Parliament, may be, by the Clerk of the Parliament, certified and transcripted into the Chancery; whereupon, and forasmuch as it was also alledged, that the said Order, either wholly or in Part, hath been heretofore, by virtue of a Writ of Certiorari, certified into the said Court of Chancery; therefore their Lordships thought fit, and accordingly do Order, That, by Saturday Morning next, the said Lady Le Despencer, or Sir Fra. Fane, shall make Search in the Rolls of the Chancery, what and how much of or concerning the said Order hath been at any Time certified as aforesaid; and of the same, at the next Sitting of the House, to give Information to their Lordships, who, upon Consideration thereof, and of that which shall besides appear in the said Journal Book material, and not so already certified as aforesaid, will then take such further Order as to their Wisdoms shall seem fit and appertain.
