Restitution of Brooke's Children.
THIS Day, a Proviso added by the Lower House to the Bill for Restitution in Blood of the Son and Two Daughters of George Brooke, late attainted of High Treason, was Twice read.
Sir John Biron's Bill.
The Bill for Amendment of a Writ of Entry, whereupon a Common Recovery was had, of the Inheritance of Sir John Biron, Knight, within the County Palatine of Lancaster, was brought into the House, by the Earl of Shrewesbury, first of the Committees, with some Alterations, which were Twice read.
Ditto.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for Amendment of a Writ of Entry, whereupon a Common Recovery was had, of the Inheritance of Sir John Biron, Knight, within the County Palatine of Lancaster, with the Amendments; and so passed.
For assuring the Isle of Man.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the assuring of the Isle of Man; and, upon the Question, passed.
The Two last mentioned Bills, videlicet, the one for the amending of a Writ of Entry, whereupon a Common Recovery was had, of the Inheritance of Sir John Biron, Knight; the other, for the assuring of the Isle of Man, were sent down to the Lower House; the first whereof was sent down, for Consideration of the Amendments added by the Lords, by Mr. Justice Foster and Mr. Dr. Hone.
Confirmation of a Decree in Chancery, between Elrington and Cage.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the confirming and establishing of a Decree, made in the High Court of Chancery, for and on the Behalf of Nine Poor Children and Orphans of William Elrington and Edward Elrington, against Edward Cage, Executor of the last Will and Testament of Rowland Elrington, Brother of the said Edward and William Elrington, and Uncle of the said Children; and for the extending of the Lands and Goods of the said Edward Cage, for the speedy Execution and Performance of the said Decree, and the Payment and Satisfaction of the Sums of Money thereby decreed to the said Children.
To explain the Act against unlawful Hunting and Stealing of Deer and Conies.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Explanation of One Statute, made in the Second Session of this present Parliament, intituled, An Act against unlawful Hunting and Stealing of Deer and Conies.
Ld. Abergavenny's Bill, and Lady Le Despencer's.
The Two several Bills, the one exhibited by the Lord Bergevenny, to be enabled to sell certain Lands, Parcel of his Possessions, the other by the Lady Le Despencer, for continuing the Estate Tail of the Possessions of the said Lord Bergevenny, were, by the Lord Archbishop of Yorke, first of the Committees, offered unto the House, without the Report of any Proceedings formerly had by the Committees therein; whereupon the Lords Committees were directed presently to go together, and consider of the said Bills.
Lords take the Oath of Allegiance.
The Earl of Bath and the Lord Denny, kneeling in the said House, freely and voluntarily did take the Oath of Allegiance, made or ordained by Parliament, in the Third Year of His Majesty's Reign.
