Archdenry of Rochester revived and annexed to archdcnry of St. Albans in accordance with 'The London Diocese Act, 1863' (Stat. 26 & 27 Vic. c. 36 s. 3; DRc/Ac 13 pp. 853, 856). Archdenry of St. Albans separated from archdcnry of Rochester by 23 Feb. 1882 in accordance with 'The Bishopric of St. Albans Act, 1875' (Stat. 38 & 39 Vic. c. 34; DRc/Ac 15 pp. 786, 788).
