Chadwyck-Healey (SRS xi, 1897) no. 1436). Last occ. as can. 5 March 1260 (below, app. 3 no. 19 G). D. or res. as this preb., called M. Walter de Gersington, before 13 May 1264 (CPR 1258-66 p. 317). Possibly to be identified with Walter, brother of Geoffrey of Cossington, who occ. 14 July 1261 (Chart. Glastonbury I 118).

Archdcn. of Wells, gr. 3 March 1267, so presum. transf. to preb. Huish and Brent (list 43).
