SIR Barnard Gascoine did this Day take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy before the Speaker, at the Clerk's Table; in order to his Naturalization.

Cambridge Pest-houses.

A Bill for Erecting Pest-houses for the Town of Cambridge, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Mr. Pepys, Dr. Burwell, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Thomas Allen, Sir John Moreton, Sir William Gawdy, Colonel Strode, Mr. Dowdswell, Mr. Pryn, Sir Jo. Coriton, Sir John Moreley, Sir Clifford Clifton, Mr. Ratchliffe, Mr. Crouch, Colonel Williams, Sir Edw. Masters, Sir John Talbott, Sir William Lowther, Sir William Coventry, Lord Richardson, Sir Humphry Winch, Mr. Otway, Mr. Rigby, Sir James Thynn, Sir John Bennet, and all that serve for the County of Cambridge: And they are to summon and hear the Commissioners, and all other Parties concerned: And they are to meet on Thursday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Wintour's Petition.

Ordered, That Sir William Windham, and Mr. William Harberd, Sir Humphry Winch, be added to the Committee, to whom the Petition of Sir John Wintour, is committed: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Exchequer Chamber: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Bishop of Duresme's Leasing.

Sir Francis Goodricke reports from the Committee, to which the Bill for Enabling the Lord Bishop of Duresme, to make Leases for Three Lives, of certain Lead Mines, was committed, several Amendments agreed to be made, and a Proviso to be added, to the Bill: Which, being twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Wine Measures, &c.

A Bill for the Settling the Measures of Wine, and the Prices and Measures of Beer, Ale, and other Liquors; and also the Measures of Grain; was read.

Ordered, That this Bill be read a Second time, on Monday next.
