Winstead Manor.

SIR Adam Browne reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for discharging the Manor of Winstead in the County of York, from a Settlement in Tail, and charging other Manors and Lands in the County of Lincolne, with the same Uses, several Amendments, agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being there twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Swanton have the Leave of the House to go into the Country.

Gery's Estate:

Sir Edmund Jenings reports from the Committee to whom the Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act for settling certain Lands belonging to Wm. Gery, of Bushmead in the County of Bedford Esquire, upon Trustees to be sold for the Payment of Debts, That the Committee had examined all the Settlements; and had summoned and heard all Parties concerned; who were consenting thereto: And that the Committee had returned the same, without any Amendments.

And the Bill being read the Third time;

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be agreed.

Thompson's, &c. Estates.

A Debate arising in the House, concerning the Privilege and Protection of this House, allowed to Thompson and Nelthrop, and others, Bankrupts, to attend the Committee, to whom the Bill concerning them is committed;

Ordered, That the Debate be adjourned till Saturday Morning next.

Poll Tax.

The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Bill for raising Money by a Poll.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Edw. Deering took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Edward Deering reports from the said Committee, That they had made some further Progress in the said Bill: And humbly moved, from the said Committee, That they may have Leave to sit again To-morrow.

Resolved, &c. That this House will, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House to proceed further in the Consideration of the Bill for raising Money by a Poll.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees that were to sit this Afternoon, be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
