Thyn's Jointure.
A BILL to enable Thomas Thyn Esquire to settle a Jointure upon a Wife, was read the Second time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Mr. Hall, Mr. Daniell, Mr. Whitacre, Sir Fr. Rolles, Sir Rob. Dillington, Sir John Strode, Sir Tho. Lee, Sir John Mallet, Sir Ric. Ingoldsby, Sir Tho. Meeres, Mr. Morris, Sir Tho. Allen, Sir Geo. Downing, Sir Gilbert Talbot, Sir John Rolles, Mr. Eyres, Mr. Culliford, Sir Ch. Harbord, Sir John Knight, Sir Jos. Tredenham, Lord Fitzharding, Sir Tho. Mompesson, Mr. Henly, Lord Ashley, Sir Wm. Franckland, Sir John Coriton, Sir Jonath. Trelawney, Sir John Elwes, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Ch. Wheeler, Mr. Westphaling, Mr. Crouch: And they are to meet at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Newport Election.
A Petition of John Coryton Esquire, complaining of an undue Return for the Borough of Newport in the County of Cornwall, was read.
Resolved, &c. That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of Elections and Privileges; to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.
Earl of Warwick and Holland's Estate.
A Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable the Guardian of the Right honourable Edward Earl of Warwick and Holland to make Leases of several Messuages herein-after mentioned, during his Minority, rendering the improved Rent, was read the First time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time.
Herry's Estate.
A Bill to enable Trustees to sell Lands for Payment of the Debt of * Herry, deceased, was read the First time.
Resolved, &c. That the Bill be read a Second time.
Hearth Money Patent.
Ordered, That the Debate concerning the Patent of the Duty of Hearth Money be proceeded in To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock: And that the Farmers of the said Duty do then attend.
Ways and Means.
The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Manner of raising the Sum of Ten hundred thousand Pounds, for enabling his Majesty to enter into an actual War against the French King.
Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Sir Edw. Deering took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Sir Edw. Deering reports from the said Committee, That the Committee had sat; but had not ripened their Debates, so as to come to a Resolution: And humbly moved from the said Committee, That they may have Leave to sit again To-morrow Morning.
Resolved, &c. That this House will, To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Manner of raising the Sum of Ten hundred thousand Pounds, for enabling his Majesty to enter into an actual War against the French King.
Committees.
Ordered, That all Committees which were Yesterday discontinued, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon, in the Places formerly appointed, except the Committee to whom the Bill concerning Lindsey Level was committed: Which is revived; and to sit To-morrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Place formerly appointed.
And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
