Prayers.

Navy.

ORDERED, That Colonel Bennett be added to the Committee of the Navy.

Bishop's Lands, &c.

Ordered, That Mr. John Stephens be added to the respective Committees of Obstructions for Sale of Bishops Lands, Dean and Chapters Lands, Crown Lands, and Delinquents Estates.

Whitehall.

Ordered, That Colonel Thompson, Colonel Stapley, Mr. Scott, and Alderman Atkyn, be added to the Committee of Whitehall.

Universities.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Strickland be added to the Committee for regulating of the Universities.

Forfeited Estates.

An additional Act for Sale of several Lands and Estates forfeited to the Commonwealth for Treason, was this Day read the First time.

And the Question being put, That this Act be now read a Second time.

It passed with the Affirmative.

And the said additional Act was now read the Second time, accordingly: And, upon the Question, committed unto Mr. Garland, Mr. Say, Sir Henry Vane, Mr. Strickland, Mr. Solicitor, Sir John Bourchier, Sir James Harrington, Mr. Cawley, Major Marten, Mr. Nevill, Colonel Morley, Colonel Staply, Colonel Lassells, Colonel Pyne, Colonel Dove, Mr. Trenchard, Mr. Bond, Sir Peter Wentworth, Sir Arthure Hesilrige, Lord * Grey, Mr. * Ashe, Mr. Marten, Mr. Ralegh, Mr. Westrow, Mr. Attorney General, Mr. Holland, Mr. Gurdon, Colonel Bennet, Lord General, Sir Henry Mildmay, Colonel Wauton, Mr. Long, Mr. Lechemere, Serjeant Withrington, Sir John Danvers, Sir Wm. Masham, Mr. Leman, Captain Skinner; and all that come to have Voices: And this Committee are to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in Mr. Speaker's Chamber; and so de die in diem.

Ordered, That it be referred to this Committee to present to the Parliament, the Names of all such Persons who are declared, by the Parliament, to be uncapable of Composition, to be put into this Bill.

Whitehall.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Whitehall, to see how the upper Bench may be removed, and set in some other convenient Place of the Hall; and how fit a Passage to the Parliament House may be made: And to take Order for the doing thereof, if they shall find it may be conveniently done, accordingly.

Siddenham's Accompts.

Ordered, That the Parliament doth allow and approve of the Accompts of Colonel William Siddenham, amounting to the Sum of Two thousand Five hundred Seventyeight Pounds and Six Shillings; the same being stated according to Ordinance of Parliament, as the same are stated, drawn up, and certified by the Committees and Commissioners of the County of Dorsett. And it is further Ordered, That the Committee of the Army do issue forth a Debenture unto the said Colonel William Siddenham, for the same, in pursuance of the Ordinance of Parliament of the Twenty-fourth of December 1647: And that the Trustees appointed by Act of Parliament for Sale of the Honours, Manors, and Lands belonging to the late King, Queen, and Prince, be and are hereby authorized and enabled to allow of the said Debenture, so to be made out by the Committee of the Army, upon any Purchase made, or to be made, by the said Colonel Wm. Siddenham, of any the said Lands, in such Manner, as all other the Debentures of the Officers of the Army have been allowed of, and accepted upon that Security.
