Army Arrears.

ACCORDING to former Order, the Grand Committee sat upon the Ordinance for providing One hundred thousand Pounds for Pay of the Arrears of reduced Officers.

Resolved, &c. That the Business concerning Sir John Danvers be resumed into Consideration on Saturday nextcome-sevennight.

Mayor of Berwicke.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Andrew Crispe shall be Mayor for the Town of Berwicke for the Year ensuing.

Resolved, &c. That the Grand Committee of the whole House do meet upon This-day-sevennight at Eight of Clock, to proceed in the Ordinance for raising Monies for Pay of the Arrears of reduced Officers.

Treaty with the King.

Mr. Swynfen reports a Letter to be sent to the Commissioners in the Isle of Wight: The which was read; and, upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

Message to Lords.

Mr. Swynfen went to the Lords, with the Message Yesterday appointed to be carried by Colonel Copley.

He is likewise to carry the Votes upon the King's Answer to the Proposition concerning the Church, the Letter to the Commissioners in the Isle of Wight, for inclosing those Votes: The Ordinance for charging Fifty thousand Pounds upon the Receipts at Goldsmiths Hall, in Course, for the Service of the Navy: The Order for Twenty Pounds to Mr. Taylor, a Messenger employed from the Governor of Stafford, out of Goldsmiths Hall.

Law Appointments.

According to former Orders to the Commissioners of the Great Seal, Sir Thomas Widdrington reports the Names of several Persons of the several Inns of Court to be made Serjeants, and of several Persons to be Justices of the several Benches.
