Prayers.

Preacher thanked.

ORDERED, That Thanks be given to Mr. Brookes, and desire him, That his Sermon be printed; and that he have the like Privilege * * * *.

Ordered, That Sir John Bourcher do give him Thanks.

Preacher appointed.

Ordered, That Mr. Owen be desired to preach the next Day of Publick Humiliation.

Sir Henry Mildmay to give him Notice.

Ordered, That Mr. Cordell of Alhallowes, Lumbardstreet, London, be desired to preach the next Day of Publick Humiliation.

Mr. Millington is to give him Notice.

Jennings' Petition.

Ordered, That the Petition of Mrs. Jennings be referred to the Committee of Complaints; to examine the Business: Who are to sit this Afternoon: And that the said Committee have Power to send for Mr. Jennings, a Member of this House; and for Parties, Papers, and Witnesses: And the Committee are to make Report thereof on Monday Morning next.

Weavers Company.

Mr. Scott reports the Matter of Fact in the Business concerning the Commonalty of Weavers in London.

The humble Petition of the Bayliffs, Wardens, and Assistants of the Company of Weavers, London, was this Day read.

Ordered, That the Business concerning the Weavers be re-committed to the former Committee: With Power to call before them both Parties; and to present an Ordinance for Settling of the Government and Peace of the whole Company: And all that come to the said Committee are to have Voices.

Customs.

An Ordinance for securing the Repayment of Six thousand Pounds, lent by the Commissioners of the Customs, for the present Use of the Navy, with Interest for Forbearance thereof, after the Rate of Eight Pounds per Centum per Annum, out of the petty and old Customs, was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, passed; and ordered to be sent to the Lords.

Ordered, That no Allowance be given, by the Committee of the Navy, of any incident Fee or old Salary, for the petty and old Customs, until the House be made acquainted therewith.

Court for trying the King.

Ordered, That the Ordinance touching the King be reported, the first Business, on Monday Morning next.

Ordered, That Power be given to the Committee to whom the Ordinance touching the King is referred, to present Names of Commissioners to this House, together with the Ordinance, on Monday Morning.

Smithby's Claims.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth approve and allow of the Debt of Two thousand Eight hundred Eighty-five Pounds Twelve Shillings and Six-pence, owing to Mr. Thomas Smithsby by the State.

Ordered, That an Ordinance be brought in for Payment of the said Two thousand Eight hundred Eighty-five Pounds Twelve Shillings and Six-pence to Thomas Smithsby, or his Assigns, out of such Revenue due to the Crown, as is in Arrear, and was due before the Year 1643, not formerly charged by any Order or Ordinance of Parliament, to any other Person, nor trenching upon any former Order or Ordinance of Parliament, made in Discharge thereof.

Mr. Allen, Mr. Love, Mr. John Goodwyn, are to prepare and bring in the said Ordinance.

Army Pay.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Army do forthwith prepare Warrants and Letters to be sent to the several Counties, touching the Sixty thousand Pounds per mensem, to be paid to the Army under the Command of the General.
