PRAYERS.

Prisoner discharged, &c.

ORDERED, That Geo. Lewis, a Messenger, employed by the Committees for Printing and Informations, shall be forthwith discharged of any further Restraint: And John Carre the Constable, who imprisoned him while he was employed in the Service of the House, being made acquainted therewith, is ordered to be sent for in safe Custody, to answer his said Contempt.

Commission of Array.

The Answer to his Majesty's Declaration, concerning the Commission of Array, in Answer to the first Declaration of the Lords and Commons, concerning the said Subject, was this Day read; and, by Vote upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent to the Lords for their Concurrence; and to be printed: And Mr. Browne has Liberty to peruse Sir Edw. Coke's Authority which is cited; and, if he find Cause, to amend it.

Sir R. Sydenham.

Ordered, That the Serjeant call upon Sir Ralph Sydenham's Bail to bring him in presently.

Affairs in Devon.

A Letter from Sir Sam. Roll, Sir Jo. Nortcott, and others, was read; setting forth the distracted Condition of the County of Devon, by reason of the Cavaliers in Cornewall.

Ordered, That such Instructions be sent into the County of Devon, as was sent into the County of Essex.

Information against Googe.

The Information against Mr. Googe, a Minister or Curate in the County of Devon, subscribed by Sir Sam. Roll, and others, was read.

Resolved, upon the Question, That Mr. Barnaby Googe shall be forthwith sent for, as a Delinquent.

Peace with Scotland.

Sir Wm. Armyn presents to the House the Names of those that are thought fit by the Committee to be inserted into the Commission for Conservation of Peace, betwixt the Two Kingdoms of England and Scotland (They, or any Twelve of them, to be authorized to have Power to treat): The which Names were read; and, upon the Question, assented unto.

Virginia Planters.

The humble Petition of the Planters and Adventurers of Virginia was read: And

Ordered, That it be referred to the former Committee for the Planters in Virginia: And that a Copy of that Committee be brought into the House To-morrow Morning; that an Addition may be made unto it, if the House shall so think fit.

Member's Privilege in a Suit.

Ordered, That Sir Peter Temple do give his Answer this Day Fortnight, whether he will insist upon his Privilege, in the Matter in Difference between the Lord Baltinglasse and himself.
