Chesthunt Vicarage.

Sir Rob. Wingfield reporteth from the Committee, the Bill for Assuring of the Advowson of Cheston to the Earl of Salisbury, and of the Advowson of Orsett to the Bishop of London, and his Successors, with Amendments in the Saving: Publisheth the Consent of the Bishop of London, with Acknowlegement, that the See is mended by it, and that he is a Gainer: And where there was an Advowson, granted before, of Chesthunt, my Lord of Salisbury is well contented with it.

The Bill thirdly read, and passed, upon the Question.

Sir Henry Poole reporteth from the Committee, the Bill touching the Naturalizing of Mr. D. Baro: That, the Committees had agreed upon a Proviso, that he should not be of the Parliament: Offereth the Proviso; which, with the Amendments, of the Bill, was twice read; but, upon the Motion of Sir Rol. Litton, stayed from the Question, until some further Proceeding in the general, lest it might do Hurt.

Union with Scotland.

Mr. Hyde maketh Report of the Committee, selected to prepare for the Conference, between the Lords, and us. -

First, of the Matter. -

Caution, that, if in any of the Laws of Hostility there be any thing inserted, that there should be special Care for that. -

Constitutions of Boroughs to be left to the Magistrates of those Cities. -

Reporteth also, that it was agreed by the Committee, that Escuage should be propounded to the Lords, at the next Conference. -

Election made of Mr. Attorney-general, Mr. Solicitor, Sir Fr. Bacon, Sir Henry Mountague.

Sir Fr. Bacon allegeth Unpreparedness, and desireth Pardon. Sir Henry Mountague excuseth himself also.
