Aug. 17 Warrant under the royal sign manual, countersigned by the Lords of the Treasury, to Lionel Cranfield, Duke of Dorset, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. For the inserting in the establishment of Ireland a pension of 300l. each to Lord Viscount Massareene and the Rev. Archibald Stewart, D.D., for them to apply same as they see fit for the maintenance and education of Christopher Fleming, Esq. only son of Wm. Sept. 29 Warrant from the Lords of the Treasury to Sir Philip Yorke, Attorney General. Requiring him to acknowledge satisfaction on the record of the judgment against Moses Nicholls, fined 10l. at the sessions at Hicks' Hall, 1728, August 26, for exposing for sale two carcases of beef being corrupt and unwholesome flesh; prisoner being in a starving condition in Newgate and utterly unable to pay the fine.
