RENDCOMB

(5 miles N. of Cirencester)

'Rendcomb Camp' (SP 020103) is not an archaeological monument, but the result of various human activities on and around prominent scarp lines of geological origin (see p. xxxiii).

Low scarps, 650 yds. N. of the 'camp' (about SP 02101105 and further N.), can be seen crossing the road and just W. of it. These could be the remains of 'Celtic' fields.
