William Govan, chaplain of the king of Scotland, perpetual vicar of Munkton, in the diocese of Glasgow. For the church of Cadros, which is a prebend of Glasgow, void by reason that John de Corucher does not keep a vicar there, and holds it together with Rivel in the same diocese without dispensation, its value being 10l.; notwithstanding that he holds Munkton on the king's nomination.

Patrick Lawson, priest, rector of Mussald, in the diocese of Glasgow, student of canon law at Paris in his second year. For the perpetual vicarage of Lochmaban in the said diocese, void by reason that Gilbert de Gilmiby has obtained a perpetual vicarage founded in Glasgow cathedral; the said church of Mussald and vicarage of Lochmaban being on the confines of Scotland and England, and their value together being no more than 40 marks.

For the church of St. Bean in Lorne in the said diocese, value 100s. void by reason that Martin, Cistercian prior of St. Katan, has held it together with three other rectories without dispensation for twenty-four years, or else that Gilletawes Willelmi, formerly rector, held it for a year without being ordained priest. For the canonry and first prebend of Glasgow, value 100 marks, void by the death of John Leche, of the household of the late Walter, cardinal of Scotland, and papal chaplain or collector, notwithstanding that William has the church of Kilpatrick, and the church or chapel of Kirkgunnane in the same diocese in commendam, and has expectation of a benefice to be named in the papal chancery. Whereas on 11 Kal. Aug. the pope made provision to Simon de Mandevilla, M. A. of Orleans, of a canonry and prebend of Glasgow, but Master Peter Bosquerii, the secretary, refuses to expedite the letters, on the grounds that the petition was not signed by the pope, and that the value of the canonry and prebend was not expressed; the pope is prayed to order the said secretary to expedite the letters under the said date, the value of the said canonry and prebend being 100 marks or to sign the petition anew.
