3. The Bill for Explanation of the Statute of 32o of H. VIII. for Limitation of Prescription. - The third Reading; and passed, upon the Question.

Examining Returns, &c.

Tuesday next, in the Afternoon, in the Chequer-chamber, is appointed for the Committees to meet together, to examine the Returns; and Defaults appearing upon the Calling of the House.

Fortifying the Borders.

2. The Bill for the better Fortifying of the Borders and Frontiers, towards Scotland, - The second Reading; and, after many Arguments, committed unto all the Privy Council being of this House, Mr. Treasurer of the Chamber, Mr. Knight Marshal, Sir Thomas Cecill, Sir Henry Lea, Sir Henry Knyvett, Sir Thomas Sampole, Sir Henry Gate, Sir Thomas Boynton, Sir John Dawney, Mr. Serjeant Flowrdewe, Mr. Attorney of the Duchy, Mr. Sands, Mr. Norton, Mr. Tho. Knyvett, Mr. Alforde, Mr. Dalton, Mr. Slingesbie, Mr. Warcopp, Mr Garnett, and Mr. Selbie; To meet upon Monday next, in the Chequer-chamber, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon.
