27 March, 1525. I John Walbutt, beyng now in servis with thomas Willson of sutton in holand, etc. My body for to be beryd with in the church yard of sutton. I will my mortuary be paid after the custome of the same town. I will unto master vicar of sutton iiijd. To every stondyng lyght with in the same church jd. To the church wark of lyncoln ijd. To the power childer att santt Kateryns ijd. To John hakhard, the son of John hakhard of march, with in the dioc' of hely viij accares of freland unto hym and unto his hares of his body lawfully cumyng under the condischon foloing. To Thomas Hakhard son of the forsaid John hakhard vj accarres of fre lond unto hym and unto his hares of his bode lawfully cumyng under the condischon foloyng. I will that ether of them be other harres. I will that if the forsaid John hakhard and thomas hakhard dye withowt harres of ther bodys, then I will thatt all the lond be sold by the hondes of my executors here under namyd, And for to be dissposid with in the churches of sutton and march in prest song by ewyn porchons for my sawill and for the sawlles of my father and mother and all my gud frendes sawlles. This is the last wyll of me Roger Stylton: To Johanna my wyfe iij acre and a Rode of herrabull lond of the kynges holde the terme of heyr lyfe, and aftur hyr decese to remayn to Wylliam my sone and to the heyeres of his bodey laufully comyng. To Wylliam my sone and to Johanna my wyff iij acres lande of Mayster Clementes ffe, leeyng be for Wylliam derlenses howse, jonteley to geder Indueryng the lyfe of my wyffe, and aftyr to remayen holly to Wylliam my sone and to the heyeres of his bodey; remainder to matyld' my dowtur and to hir heyeres. I gyfe to Wylliam my sone to hym and to his asignes ij acr' pastur of the Abbotes fee; also A nacre and a Rod harrabull lond lyeyng in gonnes gate of the Abbotes fee, henrey masone on the sowth and matyld' stylton on the north, to hym and to his asignes. And if it so fortune that the said house stond empty for defaulte of a tenaunt, then the said ij quarters salarie to stand void for tyme; moreover if the said house fall in decay by any Casualtie, then the ij quarters salarie to stand as void to such tyme as the reparacion be maid. And if it hapen the said churchwardens lett the said house willfully dekay, etc., then it shall be levefull for my executors or their assignes to sell it, and the mony therof shall be distributed yerly to a preest to syng in the said church of St. Marys so long as the mony will endure. I will that Agnes my wiffe have my house that I dwell in as long as she liffeth if she keape hir a widow, and aftre hir decesse I will it reman to John my son and to the heirs of his body. And if Agnes my wiffe taike a housbond, then I will that John my son have the said house to hym and his heires, and for default of issue I will that it shall goo to an obytt yerely to be doyn in the church of St. Peter of Salteflet by. I will that the said Agnes, and after hir the said John and his heirs, that occupieth the said howse shall give yerly in almos to power people ijs. viijd. to the pover people of the same parishe in the tyme of Lenten, and so from yere to yere for ever, etc. Witnesses, Tho' Brugh, John Thomson, with others.

I William Samesbery makys my last will, etc. I will that all my landes and tenementes wych is in my deed off feoffment beryng date the xixth day of July, xvij Henry viii, go to the use off thys my will as the forsayd deyd playnly doyth expresse. To Elizabeth my wyff for the terme off hyr lyff the house that I dwell in in Cadney wyth iij stayng off yng' lying in too placys in weste karre; also a messe and a tofft with all the appurtenance within the town and feld off owsome to such tyme as my chylder cum to full age off xv yeres. And after my sayd wyff decease I will that my said feoffys stande styll seasyd of all the landes and tenementes as in my ded off feoffment more playnly doyth appere, that is to say, I will that my doughters Margaret and Isabell have my cheyff messe in owsome wyth the landes and medows therto belongyng to them and there heyres for ever. I will that Jenet my doughter have a tofft buyldyd in owsome, with a close off woode and common therto belongyng to hyr and hyr heyres for ever. To Agnes my doughter a tofft in Cadney, with iij stayng off medow lying in weste carre, to hyr and hyr heires for ever. This is the last wyll of me above named, maid the day and yere abovewritten. I will that my house which I dwell in the day of my departyng be sold accordyng to my husbandes will, and it to be proclamed in Whaplod church and, proclamacion so maid, then I will if John my sone may be able to by itt or any frende for hym that he have it better chepe than any other shold have. 30 November, 1525, 17 Henry VIII. I Johan Kay of stixwold widow, late wiffe of William Kay late of Lincoln gent. make my present testament and last will. My body to be humate and buryed in the chauncell of our lady within the monastery of Nonnes of Stixwold nygh the grave of Robert Kay late my sonn if it fortune or happen me ther to decesse And if it fortune me to dissease att lincoln then I will my said body to be humate and buryed in the parish church ther called St. Peter at the Arches under the thrugh or grave ston of my husband. In the name of my mortuary or principall as it is accustomed, etc. To our lades warke of lincoln a payr of beades of awmbre gawded with sylver. To every house or place of the iij ordres of ffreeres in lincoln iijs. iiijd. To the great gild in lincoln ijs. To the roode light of St. peters church att tharches xxs.
