Prayers.

Leave for Member to attend Lords.

ORDERED, That Mr. Hawles have Leave to attend at the Bar of the House of Lords, as Counsel in a Cause between Strode and Rodney.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Bilson, and Mr. Brodrip, have Leave to go into the Country, for Three Weeks.

Ordered, That Sir Charles Raleigh have Leave to go into the Country, for a Fortnight from Monday next.

Bartholomeus Van Homrigh took the Oaths, in order to his Naturalization.

Marches Court in Wales.

Mr. Gwyn reports from the Committee to whom the Bill for taking away the Court held before the President and Council of the Marches of Wales was referred, That they had had several Petitions before them, some of which were read; particularly those of the Officers of the Court: But that they found others of them not well obtained; and, therefore, they did not think fit to read them: And that, upon the whole Matter, the Committee had agreed to the Bill, without any Amendments.

Ordered, That the Bill be ingrossed.

Loadman's Petition.

A Petition of Anne Loadman, Widow; complaining of several Prosecutions of one WilliamWilliams, an Attorney, in WhitechapellCourt, John Malchor, and William Bulstrode, Gentlemen, against her and her Husband, was read.

Ordered, That the Committee to whom it was referred the Fifth of March last, to consider of the Grievances relating to the Charter of London, do examine the Matter of the said Petition; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Supply.

The House then, according to their Order, resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration the Motion made on Saturday last, for a Supply to be given for the Navy.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Hamden took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Hamden reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they had sat, and considered of the Motion for a Supply to be given for the Navy; and had come to several Resolutions: Which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same being read, are as follow;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That, out of the Public Revenue, for the Charge of the Civil Government, including therein what is to be allowed for her Royal Majesty the Queen Regnant, the Queen Dowager, the Prince and Princess of Denmark, and the Marshal Schombergh, there be allowed the Sum of Six hundred thousand Pounds per Annum.

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That a Supply be given towards the Occasions and Service of the Navy, not exceeding the Sum of Seven hundred thousand Pounds.

The First of the said Resolves being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House doth agree with the Committee, That, out of the publick Revenue, for the Charge of the Civil Government, including therein what is to be allowed her Royal Majesty the Queen Regnant, the Queen Dowager, the Prince and Princess of Denmarke, and the Marshal Schombergh, there be allowed the Sum of Six hundred thousand Pounds per Annum.

The Second of the said Resolves being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House doth agree with the Committee, That a Supply be given towards the Occasions and Service of the Navy, not exceeding the Sum of Seven hundred thousand Pounds.

Mr. Hamden also acquainted the House, That he was directed by the Committee to move the House, that the Committee may sit again To-morrow Morning, to take further Consideration of the Supply of the Navy; and that they may then consider, how much of the publick Revenue shall be applied towards the Supply of the Navy.

Resolved, That this House do, To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take further Consideration of the Supply for the Navy.

Resolved, That the Committee do, in the first Place, consider how much of the publick Revenue shall be applied towards the Supply of the Navy.

Simoniacal Promotions.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Miles Cook and Mr. Meredith;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have passed the Bill, that the Simoniacal Promotion of one Person may not prejudice another; with Amendments; to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
