The Bill against shooting in Guns, Preservation of Pheasants and Partridges, etc. was returned to the House, by the Earl of Shrewsburie, the first of the Committees, without Alteration or Amendment; and thereupon the Bill was read the Third Time.

Tonnage and Poundage.

1. An Act for a Subsidy of Tonnage and Poundage. Prima vice lecta.

2. An Act for Confirmation of Letters Patents made to the Right Honourable Charles Earl of Nottingham, Lord Admiral of England, Thomas Earl of Suffolke, Lord Chamberlain of the King's Houshold, Sir John Leveson, and Sir John Trevor, Knights, for the Use and Benefit of the Lady Fraunces Dowager of Kildare, and now Wife of Henry late Lord Cobham, attainted. Returned from the Lower House, with an Addition by them added to the same.

3. An Act to enable John Tebold, Gentleman, to make his Wife a Jointure of certain of his Lands, and to sell some Part for Preferment of his younger Children.

4. An Act for the better Preservation of the Fishing, in the Counties of Somersett, Devon, and Cornewall; and for the Relief of Balkers, Conders, and Fishermen, against malicious Suits.

5. An Act for the better Relief of the Creditors, against such as shall become Bankrupts.

Calthorpe's Jointure.

The Addition on the Bill for the Jointure of the Wife of Martin Calthorpe, Gentleman, was read the Second Time; and thereupon the said Addition was appointed forthwith to be ingrossed; which being done accordingly, the Bill, with the said Addition, was read the Third Time.

Tanning of Leather.

The Bill concerning Tanning of Leather, was returned by the Earl of Northumberland, the first of the Committees; who reported, That the said Committees (having called before them sundry Tanners, Shoemakers, and others using Leather, with their Learned Counsel) sound the said Bill (for sundry Respects) unsis to be proceeded in; and thought it more meet, that the former Statues concerning Tanning of Leather may be continued.

Vagabonds, etc.

The Amendments and Proviso on the Bill against Rogues, Vagabonds, and sturdy Beggars, were Twice read; and thereupon the Proviso appointed to be forthwith ingrossed.
