Prayers.

Earl of Shrewsbury's Estate.

MR. Weld reports from the Committee, to which the Bill, on the Behalf of the Earl of Shrewsbury, and John Talbot, Infants, was re-committed, some Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and after, delivered the same, in at the Clerk's Table: Which were twice read; and upon the Question, agreed.

Ordered, That the Bill and Amendments be read the Third time To-morrow Morning.

Call of the House.

The House then proceeded to call over the Members: And several were, upon the Question, excused.

The Question being put, That Col. Williams be excused;

The House divided.

The Yeas went out.

And so it was resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That the List of Members, Defaulters, be writ out fair by the Clerk, to the end that their Names may be inserted in the Clause for the double rating of such Members.

Thomas' Petition.

A Petition of Sir Edward Thomas Baronet, was read; And the Petitioner, being called in, did own the Petition; and averred, he would make out the Matter of the Petition to be true; the same containing a Complaint against Robert Thomas Esquire, his Son, a Member of this House, of several Frauds, Injuries, and Abuses, committed by his said Son, against him the said Sir Edward Thomas.

Ordered, That Mr. Robert Thomas be summoned, by Order, to attend this House on this Day Fortnight, to answer the Petition exhibited against him by his Father, and the Complaints therein contained; and that a Copy of the Petition be sent him with the Order.

Supply Bill; Subsidies.

Mr. Edward Seymour reports from the Committee of the whole House, several Amendments agreed to be made, and Clauses to be added to the Bill of Subsidies: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

Resolved, &c. That the Report of the Bill of Subsidies be resumed To-morrow Morning at Nine of the Clock.

Linsey Level.

Ordered, That the business of Linsey Level be positively heard on Saturday next; and no other Business to intervene.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees that were to sit this Afternoon be adjourned.

Message for expediting Business.

Mr. Secretary Trevor acquaints the House, that he was commanded by his Majesty to acquaint them, that his Majesty was informed, that there had some Bills passed both Houses; and that there were others depending, near their Dispatch; which he desired them to hasten, especially those for his Supply: And, lest they should not be ready for his Royal Assent, by the Two-and-twentieth of this Instant February, he hath given Order for the adjourning of the Sessions till the Tenth of March next.

Answer to Address.

The Lord Ogle acquaints the House, from his Majesty, that his Majesty had been graciously pleased, upon the Address of the House, to give Order for the Calling in the Patent for erecting certain Lighthouses in Ireland.
