Delays in Executions, &c.
ORDERED, That the Committees to which the Bill to prevent Delays in Executions, the Bill touching Probate of Wills, the Bill for taking away Damage Cleere, were committed, be joined to the Committee for the regulating the Law: And that the said Committee do meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock.
Ld. Strangford's Estate.
A Bill, sent from the Lords, to enable Trustees to sell Lands, for Payment of the Lord Strangford's Debts, was read the First time.
Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Tuesday Morning next.
Astley's Estate.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir Justinian Lewen and Sir Nathaniell Hobart;
Mr. Speaker, The Lords have returned you the Bill for the Settling of several Manors, Lands, and Tenements of Sir Jacob Astley, lying in the Counties of Norfolke and Warwick; with some Amendments, and a Proviso: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Ordered, That the Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill of Sir Jacob Astley, be read, and taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning.
Navy Debt.
Ordered, That the Report of Sir Richard Ford, touching the Victuallers of the Navy, be heard, and taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning, at Ten of the Clock.
Yarmouth Towns.
Ordered, That the Report touching the Two Towns of Great and Little Yarmouth, be heard upon Tuesday Morning at Ten of the Clock.
Supply Bill.
Ordered, That Samuell Hare be added Commissioner to the List of Essex.
The House then resumed the Consideration of the Medium of the several Counties of South Wales, which was brought in Yesterday, in pursuance of the Order of the House.
And the List being twice read; and agreed to;
Resolved, That the Blanks for the several Counties of South Wales be filled up with the several Sums contained in the Medium.
Which was done accordingly.
The House then proceeded in the Reading of the Lists of Commissioners Names to be inserted into the Bill for his Majesty's Supply.
And the several Lists for the Counties of Gloucester, Hereford, Hertford, Kent, Lancaster, and Lincolne, to the City of London, were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.
A List of Commissioners Names for the City of London was twice read.
Another List of some Persons was tendered to be added to the List of Commissioners Names brought in for the City of London; and once read.
The Question being put, That the List of Names tendered to be added to the List of Commissioners Names brought in for the City of London, be read a Second time;
It passed in the Negative.
Resolved, That the Name of Walter Lapp be inserted into the List of Commissioners Names for the City of London.
Which was done.
The Question being put, That there shall be any further Addition of Commissioners Names for the City of London;
It passed in the Negative.
The House then proceeded in the Reading of the Lists of Commissioners Names.
And the several Lists of Commissioners Names for the County of Middlesex, Westminster, Monmouth, Northampton, Norfolk, and Norwich, were twice read; and, with some Alterations and Additions, upon the Question, severally agreed to.
Debtors Relief.
Ordered, That the Bill for Relief of Creditors and Prisoners be read the first Bill To-morrow Morning.
