Prayers.

CORNELIUS Le Brun, and James Tandin, in order to their Naturalization, did this Day take the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance before Mr. Speaker, at the Clerk's Table.

Browne's Estate.

A Bill enabling Sir Anthony Browne to sell Lands for Payment of Debts, being ingrossed, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill do pass.

And the Question being put, That the Title of the said Bill shall be, An Act enabling Sir Anthony Brown to sell Lands for Payment of Debts;

Resolved in the Affirmative.

And Mr. Shaw is to carry up the said Bill.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Culliford, one of the Members of this House, have Leave to go into the Country.

Highways.

Ordered, That Sir Roger Bradshawe, Mr. Pepis, and Mr. Rigby, be added to the Committee of the Bill for the Enlarging and Repairing of Common Highways.

Hunt's Estate.

Mr. Dennis reported several Amendments to the Bill enabling the Sale of some of the Lands of Thomas Hunt Esquire, and John Hunt Gentleman, for Payment of their Debts: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and then delivered in the same at the Table: Which several Amendments being twice read;

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the said Committee in the said several Amendments: And

Resolved, upon the Question, That the said Bill, with the said Amendments, be ingrossed.

Court of Wards.

A Petition of the Officers of the late Court of Wards and Liveries, who have received no Satisfaction upon the taking away of the said Court, was this Day read.

Resolved, That it be referred to a Committee, to examine what legal Offices of the said Court of Wards were established by the Statute; and to examine and hear the several Claims of the several Officers belonging to such Offices, and report it to the House; and withal to present some Means how they may have Recompence for their Places: And the same was committed to Sir Robert Atkins, Lord Bruce, Lord St. John, Sir Edm. Confirming Publick Acts.

The Bill for confirming publick Acts, being ingrossed, was this Day read the Third time.

And a Proviso being brought in, to be added to the Act of free and general Pardon, Indemnity, and Oblivion, which is thereby to be confirmed;

The same took up long Debate: And

Resolved, upon the Question, That the further Debate of the said Proviso be adjourned till Nine of the Clock To-morrow Morning.

And this House adjourned till Seven of the Clock To-morrow Morning.
