Prayers.

Boothby's Sequestration.

THE House resumed the Debate upon the Petition of Colonel Wm. Boothby, read Yesterday.

Resolved, That the Door be shut till Twelve of the Clock.

Resolved, That this Petition be referred to a Committee; viz. to Sir James Harrington, Mr. Bond, Mr. Trenchard, Colonel Marten, Mr. Attorney, Mr. Carew, Colonel Morley, Sir Thomas Wroth, Mr. Strickland, Mr. Lemon, Mr. Nevill, Lieutenant General Ludlow, Colonel Fielder, Mr. * Corbet, Major General Harrison, Sir Richard Lucy, Mr. Stephens, Colonel Bossevile, Mr. Hodges, Alderman Pennyngton, Mr. Hallowes, Mr. Moyle, Mr. Clement, Sir Wm. Strickland; or any Five of them: With Power to examine upon Oath; and to hear the whole Matter and Witnesses on both Sides; and what hath been already done; and report the Matter of Fact to the House: And this Committee have Power to send for Persons, Papers, and Witnesses: And are to meet Tomorrow at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber.

Ordered, That the Sequestration of the Estate of Colonel William Boothby be suspended; but that the Security already taken, for answering the Estate to the Benefit of the Commonwealth, do continue: And the Committee are to report the same to the House, with all Speed.

Business to be done.

Ordered, That no other Business, but publick Business only concerning Money, and other publick Affairs of the Commonwealth, be taken into Debate in the House until the First of October next.
