Duke of Gelder's Wines.

ORDERED, That it be referred to the Committee of the Navy, to consider of the Business touching the Duke of Gelder's having the Wines for his own Spending, Custom and Impost free; and to give Allowance for such Quantities and Proportions of Wine, as they think fit for his own Spending.

Colonel Thornhaugh.

Ordered, That the Report touching Colonel Thornhaugh be made on Friday Morning next.

Earl of Thomond.

The humble Petition of Barnaby Earl of Thomond, was this Day read.

A Letter from the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, of the Three-and-twentieth of July 1649, touching the Earl of Thomond, was this Day read.

Ordered, That it be referred to a Committee, to consider of the said Petition, and of the Justness of the Debt; and to propose some way to the House, how the same may be satisfied, if they find it to be a just Debt: Viz. unto Sir John Danvers, Sir James Harrington, Mr. John Goodwyn, Mr. Robinson, Colonel Fleetwood, Mr. Thomas Challenor, Mr. James Challenor, Sir Henry Myldmay, Mr. Edward Ashe, Mr. Dove, Mr. Weaver, Colonel Venn, Sir Wm. Strickland, Mr. Marten, Lord Munson; or any Three of them: Who are to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the Exchequer Chamber; and to sit de die in diem.

Grant to Bradshawe.

Mr. Garland reports Amendments to an Act to settle Two thousand Pounds per Annum upon John Bradshawe Serjeant at Law, and Lord President of the Council of State: Which were twice read.

The Question being put, That the House doth agree to the Amendments reported;

It passed with the Negative.

The Question being put, That this Bill be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the Bill, being put to the Question, passed.

Grant to Marten.

Mr. Garland reports Amendments to an Act for settleing Lands, of One thousand Pounds per Annum, on Henry Marten, and his Heirs: Which were twice read.

Resolved, &c. That this House doth agree to the Amendment, as touching the Manor of Eusam.

Resolved, &c. That the Capital Messuage, Manorhouse, Castle and Park of Greenwich, &c. the Isle of Sarke, &c. in the Forest of Leighfield, be omitted out of this Act.

And the Bill, being so amended, was, upon the Question, passed.

Ordered, That it be referred to the same Committee, to cause a Survey to be taken, upon Oath, of the true yearly Value of the said Manor of Eusham; and to consider of such other Lands of Inheritance of the Duke of Bucks, to be settled on the said Mr. Marten, as together with the said Manor of Eusham, shall make up One thousand Pounds per Annum, de claro, above all Reprizes, in an Act for that Purpose.

Westminster School.

Ordered, That the Act touching the School of Westminster, be read on Friday Morning next, the First Business.

Ordered, That Mr. Blakeston's Business be taken into Consideration on Friday Morning next.

Mariners Petition.

Ordered, That the Mariners Petition be read Tomorrow Morning, the first Business.
