Prayers.

Judges.

ORDERED, That the Business concerning the Judges, and other Matters, that were appointed for this Day, be appointed for Monday next.

Mr. Pierepoint reported from the Committee at Derby House, Credentials for Mr. Strickland to the States of the United Provinces; and the Draught of a Credential Letter to the States of the Particular Provinces: The which were read; and, upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be sent unto the Lords for their Concurrence.

Mr. Pierepoint is appointed to carry it to the Lords.

Mr. Pierepoint further acquainted the House, That the Instructions for Mr. Strickland were ready: And that according to the Order of this House, and the former Power to that Committee in like Cases, they would send him speedily away, unless the House should command them to report the said Instructions; which the House did not.

A Person sent for.

Resolved, &c. That * Talkott be forthwith sent for, in safe Custody, by the Serjeant at Arms attending on this House.

Declaration of Non-Addresses.

According to the Order passed on Thursday last, the House took into Consideration, and read, in Parts, the Declaration, expressing the Grounds of passing the late Votes concerning no Application to the King.

Resolved, &c. That this Clause in the Declaration, concerning the Death of King James, be re-committed: And that Power be given to that Committee to proceed to the thorough Examination of this Business; and to send for Parties, Witnesses, Papers, and Records.

Suspected Persons.

Whereas, by an Order of the Third of this instant February, it was ordered, That the Lieutenant of the Tower, taking with him One of the Militia, should have Power to search for suspected Persons within the late Lines of Communication: It is now Ordered, That he shall have Power by himself, or such as he shall employ, to search: And that the said Order, of the Third of this instant February, be so amended.

Prince Elector.

Ordered, That the Ordinance concerning the Prince Elector be read on Thursday Morning.

King's Attendants.

Resolved, &c. That Power be given to Colonel Hammond, Govorner of the Isle of Wight, from time to time, to discharge such Persons from Attendance upon the Person of the King, as he shall have Occasion to suspect.

Ordered, That the Governor of the Isle of Wight shall have Power, if he judge it necessary, to appoint Eight such Persons to be about the Person of the King as he will conside in, until the General shall settle the Whole: And this House doth declare they will take it into speedy Consideration to make fit Allowances for their Attendance.

Declaration of Non-Addresses.

Resolved, &c. That the Clause in the Declaration, touching the Destroying of Lords and Commanders in Scotland, be re-committed.

Resolved, &c. That the House do proceed in the Consideration of this Declaration on Monday Morning next, the first Business; and nothing to intervene; notwithstanding any former Order: And that Mr. Speaker do put the House in mind hereof.
