Prayers.

Letter read.

A LETTER from Mr. Bradshaw, dated July the 20th 1652, was this Day read.

Publick Revenue.

Major Salwey reports from the Committee, to whom it was referred to consider how the Treasury may be brought into One Channel, A Bill touching the several Receipts of the Revenues and Treasuries of the Commonwealth, and the bringing the same into One Treasury: Which was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, That the said Bill be now read the Second time.

The said Bill was now read the Second time accordingly.

Ordered, That this Bill be committed to the same Committee; and all that come, to have Voices: And that the Committee have Power to present the Names of Six Persons, out of which Three may be chosen by the Parliament for this Service: And that the Committee do meet this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber, and so de die in diem.

Delinquents Estates.

The Lord Grey reports Amendments to the Bill for Sale of several Delinquents Lands and Estates, for the Use of the Navy: Which were twice read.

The Question being put, to agree to the Two Provisoes touching giving the Tenants Pre-emption;

It passed with the Negative.

And the rest of the Amendments were, upon the Question, agreed unto: And the Bill so amended, was upon the Question, ordered to be ingrossed; and brought in again on Tuesday Morning next.

Ambassy to Sweden.

The House being informed, that Mr. Lisle, who was sent with Letters, from the Parliament, to the Queen of Sweden, was at the Door; he was called in; and made a Relation touching his Reception and Entertainment by the Queen and Nobles there, by the Queen's Command: And afterwards withdrew.

Resolved, That Mr. Lisle have the Thanks of the Parliament for this his Service.

Resolved, That Mr. Lisle be recommended, by the Parliament, to the Lieutenant-General, for some Place of Employment under him, in the Service of the Parliament in Ireland.

Mr. Lisle being called in again; Mr. Speaker did declare to him, that the Parliament did accept of his Service; and did accordingly give him the Thanks of the Parliament.

The House, according to former Order, adjourned itself to Tuesday Morning next, Eight of Clock.
