Prayers.
Council of State.
THE House this Day, according to former Order, proceeded with the Election of the rest of the Council of State.
Mr. Speaker appointed Sir Gilbert Pickering, Alderman Allein, Sir Wm. Brereton, Colonel Wauton, to deliver the Papers to the Clerk to be read.
After the Papers were all read, and the Numbers computed;
Sir Wm. Brereton reports the Names of the Persons who have the most Voices to be these following; viz.
Resolved, by the Parliament, That Herbert Morley Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Robert Wallop Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Anthony Stapley Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Sir Peter Wentworth * be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Philip Lord Lisle be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Alexander Popham Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That John Corbett Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Abraham Burrell Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Wm. Hay Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Cornelius Holland, Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.

Resolved, That Henry Nevill Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Henry Herbert Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Robert Blake Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That the Earl of Pembroke be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing.
Resolved, That Henry Marten Esq; be one of the Council of State for the Year ensuing. -
Sheriff of Hertford.
Ordered, That Thomas Keightley *, High-Sheriff of the County of Hertford, have Liberty to stay in and about London, for some convenient Time, to dispatch his necessary Occasions.-

Ordered, That the Tellers do take the Papers, and cause them to be burned.
And they took the Papers, accordingly.
