Abstract
The cause of Lister's complaint against Bristoe is unknown. Bristoe was summoned to appear on 21 February 1639 and entered bond on 10 July; but no further proceedings survive.

Signed by Henry Bristoe.
Sealed, subscribed and delivered in the presence of John Watson.

Thomas Lister (b.c.1612) was the eldest son of Rowland Lister of Rowton, co. Salop, esq, and Mary, daughter of Michael Chambers of Shrewsbury.
