William Bunting of East Greenwich, co. Kent, gent v William Burnham of the same, gent
October 1637 - January 1638
Abstract
Bunting entered bond to prosecute Burnham on 3 November 1637 and Burnham was several times summoned to appear before Lord Maltravers between October 1637 and January 1638. But no further proceedings survive and the cause of the suit remains unknown.

The defendant was described as William Burnham the elder, silkweaver.

Bound to appear 'in the Court in the painted Chamber within the Pallace of Westminster'.

Sealed, subscribed and delivered in the presence of John Watson.
Summary of proceedings
This cause came before Lord Maltravers on 31 October and 28 November 1637, and again on 27 January 1638. Dr Talbot was counsel and Burnham was several times summoned to appear.

Neither of the parties were mentioned in the Visitations of Kent for 1619-21 and 1663-8.
