Walter, bishop of Glasgow, papal chaplain. Whereas in his cathedral there are twenty-four prebends, eight of which, and also six dignities, have cure of souls, he prays for faculty to bestow one or two benefices on fit persons nominated by him, notwithstanding that Gregory XI. granted him the like for six prebends and four dignities, but of this the death of that pope deprived him of any but a very small benefit. Granted for six prebends and four dignities.
