Entry F, a surgeon of Fenchurch Street, was accused of putting up a notice advertising his powder against chlorosis. He replied that his wife had done it. A Fellow had reprimanded her and F said that she had injured none and helped many, including two in Ironmonger Lane. He was ordered to reappear with his wife and a recipe for the powder.
Action taken To reappear with wife and recipe for the powder.

Entry F and his wife appeared and said that many of their neighbours sold the same or a similar powder, freely and without hindrance. They then confessed and were pardoned previous offences on condition that they abstained in future.
