Pye Corner, Tower Street

At the east end of Tower Street, and north end of Petty Wales, 23 poles north from Richardson's wharf on the Thames, and 12 poles west from the Tower ditch.

Mentioned in the circumference of the Tower set out in Patent, Jas. II. (Bayley, II CXVIII. App.).

Pye in the Royall

A Messuage so called in the parish of St. Michael Paternoster Church, 1565 (Lond. I. p.m. II. 35).

Pyellane

At the west end of St. Michael Queenhithe (S. 358).

Seems to be identical with Huggin Lane, Upper Thames Street (q.v.).

Pyke's Place

A messuage in parish of St. Bartholomew the Less in ward of Bradstrete, 2 Eliz. 1560 (Lond. I. p.m. I. p.207).
