Sir Henry Carew of Bickleigh, co. Devon, knt v John Rew of the same, fuller

Carew entered a bond to prosecute Rew on 5 July 1637. There were proceedings on 14 October 1637, but nothing further survives.

Bound to appear 'in the Court in the painted Chamber within the Pallace of Westminster'.

Signed by William Barnet of St Clement Danes without Temple Bar, London 'scissore', on behalf of Carew.

Sealed, subscribed and delivered in the presence of Humphrey Terrick.

Dr Fuller acted as counsel for Carew and Dr Parry for Rew. There were proceedings on 14 October 1637 before the earl of Arundel and Lord Maltravers.

Henry Carew, son and heir of Peter Carew of Bickleigh was aged 21 at the Visitation of 1620.
