Abstract
Bray complained that Wenlowe had wished the pox on him and said that he 'loved a whore well'. He added that Bray 'was much indebted when his son married my kinswoman and had little or no stock upon his ground'. No further proceedings survive.

'William Wenlowe, gent., upon conference betwixt him and some others concerning
the petitioner did very disgracefullie and maliciouslie report and say that your petitioner loved a whore well; and further said, speaking of the petitioner, Pox on him, he was much indebted when his son married my kinswoman, and had little or no stock upon his ground, with many other like scandalous and disgracefull words, whereby the petitioner extremelie suffers in his reputacon.'
Petitioned that Wenlowe be brought to answer.
