The origin and result of this set of causes of office remain unknown, as only the monition for these defendants to appear at the suit of the Officers of Arms survives.

John Agard, esq, was appointed a justice of the peace in Derbyshire on 1 July 1639 and high sheriff for the county on 10 November 1639.
