Francis Collier of Stone, co. Stafford, esq v Thomas Challoner of the same

February 1639

Abstract

The libel was presented on behalf of Collier in February 1638/9; but the cause and result of his complaint against Challoner remain unknown.

Summary of proceedings

Dr Duck acted as counsel for Collier with Dr Exton for Challoner. On 21 February 1639 Challoner was summoned and the libel was presented. On 23 February Dr Exton denied the libel and commissioners were appointed but no names or details were given.

Notes

Francis Colier of Stone, co. Stafford (c.1588-1678) was the son of James Colier.
