Lord Stanhopes Privilege Sanderson arrested.
This Day was read the Petition of Anthony Sanderson,
Servant to the Right Honourable Charles Lord Stanhope,
in Execution for Nineteen Pounds, arrested contrary to
the Privileges of this Honourable House; whereupon
it was Ordered, That the Lord Stanhope shall aver,
upon his Lordship's Honour, That Anthony Sanderson is
his menial Servant, or Solicitor, or otherwise employed
in his necessary Affairs.
Consideration of the Lords taking the Oath of Allegiance.
Whereas it was appointed, That the Oath of Allegi
ance should have been given to the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal in the High Court of Parliament assembled,
as upon this Day, it is now referred to the Considera
tion of the Grand Committee of Privileges, before their
Lordships take it.
This Day the Lord Viscount Campden was added to
the Grand Committee for Privileges.
