After his death, the said Juliana and Burgia, his sisters, entered into the manor, demised it for 4s. yearly to William Clere, now deceased, and Denise his wife, the present tenant, and died without heir of their bodies. The said John, Ellen and Gunnora also died. The said Elizabeth daughter of John, and Agnes and Alice, daughters of Ellen, as kinswomen and heirs of Juliana and Burgia, granted the manor to the aforesaid William and Denise and the heirs of William; and William and Denise occupied the manor accordingly and took the issues and profits thereof, and Denise still occupies it and takes the issues.
Ormesby. The manor, worth nothing beyond the said 16l. Whether, on the facts given above, it is held of the king or of the earl of Kent, the jurors know not.
