PRECENTORY

Dignity established 1224, with endowment of 10m from prebs. and commons of non-resident cans. (St Davids Acta no. 85), Evidently had been increased to 15m by 1259/60, when bp. gr. land at Trefgarn in exchange for the annual payment of 15m which chapter previously paid to prec.
