JOHN Cobine, Son of Wm. Cobinc, born at Solingen in the Duchy of Burgen; and Henry King, Son of John King, born at Solengen in the Duchy of Bergen; did this Day take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, in order to their Naturalization.

Defaulters to Call of the House.

Ordered, That Sir John Carew, and Mr. Barnaby, being now present, and being disabled by Sickness from coming sooner, be discharged of their Fines for making Default on the Call of the House.

Juxon's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for enabling Sir Wm. Juxon Knight and Baronet, Executor of the last Will and Testament of Wm. Juxon, late Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, to recover Part of his Estate, was read the Second time.

State of Trade.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Petition of Stephen Stringer, and other Clothiers, was referred, formerly appointed by Order of the 4th of November last, for balancing of Trade, preventing the Exportation of Wool, and other Matters thereby directed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon.

Fitton's Petition.

Ordered, That the Report of the Committee, to which the Matter, upon the Petition of Mr. Fitton, was committed, be heard the first Business To-morrow Morning.

Upon a Report, made by Mr. Coleman, from the Committee, to which, the Petition of Mr. Fitton was committed, of a Breach of Privilege done by one John Lewen; as followeth;

Privilege- Abuse of a Witness.

Stephen Carr, attending, by Order of this Committee, as a Witness, complains, that John Lewen, lately turned out of his Majesty's Guard for being a Papist, did, in the Lobby, and at the Bar of this House, call him the said Stephen Carre Rogue and Beggar; and said, there would be a Course taken with him; and said, himself was a Gentleman.

Peter Mappleston says, he saw a tall Gentleman, in a Periwig in the Lobby, give foul Language to Stephen Carre, calling him Rogue; and, as he remembers, Stephen Carr told him he attended as a Witness.

Stephen Carre further saith, that this last is the same Person, of whom he complained.

Ordered, That John Lewen be sent for, in Custody of the Serjeant at Anns, for his Contempt, and Breach of Privilege in his abusing and threatening one Stephen Carre, who attended as a Witness in a Cause depending before a Committee of this House, upon the Petition of Mr. Fitton.

Ordered, That the Petition of Wm. Carr be referred to the Committee of Grievances; to examine the Matter, and report it to the House.

Stonehouse's Petition.

Ordered, These Persons following be summoned to give in their Evidence, in a Cause, on Monday next, to be heard at the Bar of this House, upon the Petition of John, Mary, and Dorothy Stonehouse; and that all the Paper, Books, and Writings, in the Hands of Mr. Marsh, relating to the Matter in Question, be then produced; the Duchess of Albemarle, Mr. Edm. Lenthall, Mr. Edw. Twyford, Mr. Tho. Atkinson, Capt. Thomas Walker, Mrs. Anne Herne, Robert Warcopp, Esquire, Mrs. Joane Cotton, Mr. Beamount, Mr. Edward Pincham, Mr. Alexander Greedy, Mr. Ogilby, Mr. James Vesper, Mr. Jo. Lenthall, Robert Wheeler Esquire, Mr. Jo. Galloway, Capt. Lluellin, Mr. Wm. Bird, Mr. Simon Limbury, Mr. Joseph Ayliffe.

Ordered, That these Persons following be summoned to attend, and give Evidence, on Monday next, in a Cause then to be heard at the Bar of this House, upon the Petition of John, Mary, and Dorothy Stonehouse; viz. Supply.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, in order to the Consideration of the Motion made on Wednesday, for a Supply of the King's Majesty.

Mr. Edw. Seymour reports from the Committee, That they had made some Progress in Consideration of the Motion for a Supply of the King's Majesty; and humbly moved it, as the Opinion of the Committee, that the House would appoint a Committee, to take an Account of the Proceed of the Poll Money; as also, an Account of the Money registered upon the Eleven Months Assessment; and what Part of the Money was expended towards the War, according to the Intent of the Act of Parliament, betwixt Michaelmas 1666, and Michaelmas 1667; and what Money, arising by the Poll Bill, hath been likewise applied to the Use of the War within the said Time.

Resolved, That the House doth agree with the Committee of the whole House, that a Committee be appointed to take an Account of the Proceed of the Poll Money; as also, to take an Account of the Moneys registered upon the Eleven Months Assessment; and what Part of the Money was expended towards the War, according to the Intent of the Act of Parliament, betwixt Michaelmas 1666, and Michaelmas 1667; and what Money, arising by the Poll Bill, hath been likewise applied to the Use of the War within the said Time: and it is referred to Mr. Seymour, Sir Lanc. Higgons, Sir Walter St. John, Sir Edmund Windham, Sir Jo. Earnly, Sir Jo. Mounson, Sir Tho. Littleton, Mr. Dowdswell, Mr. Prynn, Sir Hum. Winch, Sir Cha. Harbord, Mr. Spry, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir Tho. Meeres, Mr. Harbord, Sir Robert Carr, Mr. Love, Sir Clifford Clifton, Lord Castleton, Sir Tho. Lee, Sir Tho. Allen, Sir Wm. Hickman, Mr. Hungerford, Lord Fitzwilliams, Sir Walter Young, Mr. Onslow: And they are to meet at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And are impowered to appoint Sub Committees of any Three or more of them, from time to time, as they shall see Cause; and to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Resolved, That this House will resolve into a Committee of the whole House, in order to the further Consideration of the Motion for a Supply of the King's Majesty, on Monday Morning Ten of the Clock.

Resolved, That the Cause upon the Petition of John, Mary, and Dorothy Stonehouse, appointed to be heard on Monday Morning, be heard at the Bar of this House on Monday Sevennight in the Morning.
