Lord Wentworth's Estate.

ORDERED, That the Bill tendered, touching the Payment of the Lord Wentworth's Debts, be now admitted; and read on Thursday Morning next the first Business.

Renew's, &c. Nat.

A Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act for Naturalization of Peter Renew, and others, was read.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time.

Squibb's Estate.

A Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable the Sale of certain Lands in Winterborne Whitechurch in the County of Dorsett, lately belonging to Lawrence Squibb Esquire, was read a Second time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be committed to Sir John Moreton, Mr. Serjeant Maynard, Lord Ashley, Sir John Knight, Sir Tho. Allen, Mr. Whittaker, Colonel Gilby, Sir Trevor Williams, Mr. Mallet, Sir Cha. Stamford Election.

A Motion being made, That the Petition of Mr. Hatcher, High Sheriff of the County of Lincolne, exhibited to the Committee of Privileges and Elections, setting forth, that he is duly elected for the town of Stanford in the said County; He having himself returned Henry Nowell Esquire, as duly elected for the said Town;

Resolved, &c. That the Petition of Mr. Hatcher, High Sheriff of the County of Lincolne, exhibited to the Committee of Elections and Privileges, touching the Election for the Town of Stamford within the said County, be rejected.

Educating Children of Royal Family, &c.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, intituled, An Act for further securing the Protestant Religion, by Education of the Children of the Royal Family therein; and providing for the Continuance of a Protestant Clergy; was read the Second time.

Irish Cattle.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to the Committee of the whole House, to whom the explanatory Bill to prevent Frauds and Abuses in importing Irish Cattle stands committed, to consider, whether the Laws prohibiting the Importation of Irish Cattle shall be made perpetual, or be repealed; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Papists not to sit in Parliament.

A Bill to hinder Papists from sitting in either House of Parliament, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to the same Committee to whom the Bill to prevent the Growth of Popery stands committed.
