Bedford Level.

A BILL for assessing the Taxes of certain Fen Lands, lying in Bedford Level, read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read a Second time on Thursday next.

Bishop of Duresme's Leasing.

A Bill to enable the Lord Bishop of Duresme to make Leases of certain Lead Mines, for Three Lives, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill be committed to Sir Sollo. Swale, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir Robert Atkins, Col. Kirkby, Sir Edw. Masters, Sir John Talbott, Colonel Reames, Col. Gilby, Sir Clifford Clifton, Sir John Goodrick, Doctor Burrell, Sir Geo. How, Mr. Scawen, Sir Tho. Bludworth, Mr. Rigby, Serj. Seis, Sir Tho. Gower, Mr. Prynn, Sir John Moreton, Sir Robert Carr, Mr. Crouch, Sir John Brampston, Sir William Doyley, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Hen. Cæsar, Sir John Erneley, Sir Tho. Littleton, Lord St. John, Sir Robert Howard, Sir John Otway, Sir John Trott, Mr. Boscawen, Sir John Norton, Mr. Milward, and all that serve for the Counties of Yorke: And they are to meet at Two of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And to give Notice to the Dean of Duresme, and other Persons concerned: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Winter's Petition.

A Petition of Sir John Winter was read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to Sir Thomas Gower, Sir Walter Young, Col. Birch, Sir Sollo. Swale, Sir John Knight, Sir Wm. Lewis, Mr. Scudamore, Sir John Talbott, Sir Cha. Harbord, Col. Gilby, Sir Phillipp Warwick, Mr. Pryn, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir Bainham Throckmorton, Serj. Seis, Mr. Boscawen, Sir Tho. Higgons, Mr. Westfaling, Sir Robert Brookes, Sir Robert Carr, Sir Humph Hooke, and all the Members that serve for Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Somersettshire, Monmouthshire, and Worcestershire: And all that come are to have Voices: And to send for the Articles of Sir John Winter; and to give notice to the Commissioners concerned, to attend and to be heard; and to inquire what has occasioned the Want of Timber in the Forest of Deane; and to consider, how the Timber there and in the New Forest may be preserved and increased for the future.

Severne Navigation.

Resolved, &c. That it be referred to a Committee, to consider of Proposals to prepare and bring in a Bill for the making a River navigable from the River Severne to London; viz. Sir John Lowther, Sir John Talbott, Lord Cornbury, Mr. John Vaughan, Sir John Denham, Sir John Knight, Sir Robert Howard Sir William Lewys, Mr. Pryn, Sir Bainham Throckmorton, Sir Sollo. Swayle, Sir Robert Atkins, Sir James Thyn, Colonel Kirby, Mr. Pleydall, and all the Members that serve for the several Counties of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, and Surrey: And they are to meet To-morrow at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber; and to send for Persons, Papers, and Records; and to consider, what Effect and Benefit hath been already made, by making Rivers navigable; and how the State of the Matter is, in that Particular, upon the Laws already made, and to report it, with their Opinions, to the House.

Miscarriage of the War.

Resolved, &c. That Mr. Secretary Morrice do move his Majesty to give an Account to the House, or the Committee, what he knows concerning the Miscarriage in dividing the Fleet.
