ORDERED, That the Business of the Carmen be taken into Consideration This-day-sevennight.

Ordered, That Colonel Downes do make his Report from Goldsmith's-Hall on Thursday next.

Soldiers Widows.

Ordered, That the Committee of the Army do give Warrant to the Treasurers at War, to make Payment of the Monies ordered by the Parliament to be paid to the poor Widows, whose Husbands were slain at Worcester.

Col. Lilburne.

Ordered, That the Amendments to the Act for Banishment of Lieutenant Colonel John Lilburne, be reported To-morrow Morning, the first Business.

Act of Oblivion.

The House this Day resumed the Debate upon the Act of General Pardon and Oblivion.

The Question being put, That these Words, viz. "as also, all Monies imprested since the 25th of March One thousand Six hundred Twenty-and-five, whereupon there hath been any Installment or just and lawful Seizure, before the First Day of December One thousand Six hundred Fifty-and-one, upon which Installment or Seizure, any thing is, or, at any time since the said 25th Day of March 1625, hath been, answered or paid," be Part of the Bill;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

So it was Resolved, That these Words, viz. " as also, all Monies imprested since the 25th Day of March One thousand Six hundred Twenty-and-five, whereupon there hath been any Installment, or just and lawful Seizure, before the First Day of December One thousand Six hundred Fifty-and-one, upon which Installment, or Seizure, any thing is, or, at any time since the said 25th Day of March One thousand Six hundred Twenty-and-five, hath been, answered or paid," be Part of the Bill.

A Clause was tendered to this Act, in these Words; viz. " And also excepted out of this Act, all and every Person and Persons, who had any Hand, or was any ways privy, or at any time consenting, unto the acting, plotting, contriving, or assisting the horrid, detestable, and barbarous Murthers and Assassination of Doctor Dorislaus and Mr. Anthony Ascham, or either of them, being Ministers of State, sent from the Parliament of England unto the States of the United Provinces, and the King of Spain:" Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, assented unto; and ordered to be Part of the Bill.

A Proviso was tendered to this Act in these Words; " Provided always, that this Act, nor any Thing therein contained, doth or shall extend to free or discharge the real or personal Estate of any Delinquent omitted out of his Composition, which ought to have been compounded for; nor to any undervalued Composition, where the Undervalues, in such Composition, amount unto a full Fourth Part of the Estate compounded for; provided always, that a Discovery be made of such Omissions, and undervalued Compositions, within one Year from the Day of, in the Year of our Lord God:" Which was this Day read the First time.

The Question being put, That this Proviso be read the Second time;

So it passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, That this Proviso be rejected.-
