Duty on Tobacco.
AN additional Act for the Payment of the Duty of Excise for English Tobacco, was this Day read the First and Second time.
Ordered, That Mr. Broughton and Mr. Moyer do withdraw, and prepare a Proviso, upon the Debate of the House, to be added to this Bill.
Excise.
The House proceeded in the Debate of the Rates for Excise.
